The Ranfurly Business Group are keen to initiate a new community plan for Ranfurly. The aim of the plan is to help set the direction of Ranfurly into the future, by determining shared community values and vision. To do this, we are gathering feedback from people who work, live, or play in Ranfurly.
We want to know what you think. Tell us what the special things are about Ranfurly – what you value and want to remain; what you think should change; and what you want Ranfurly to be known for in the future.
Your feedback will help inform a new Ranfurly Community Plan and create a new action plan for the community. The results of the survey will be available to everybody.
This is a community-led process, supported by Central Otago District Council, including the Maniototo Community Board.
How to get involved?
Complete the survey on this page by Wednesday, 30 September 2026 and encourage your friends and family to get involved as well. There will be community workshops held in October where we will be discussing the results of the survey and hearing your ideas about how to turn this feedback into action.
We take your privacy seriously. Any personal details you provide will remain confidential. The results will be collated in a summary report that will include key themes that come through in the comments. Verbatim comments may be included with no personal details attributed.
Please note that comments received for any survey are considered official information and may be released if requested under the Local Government Official information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA).
