FAQs
Will this strategy be focused only on children?
Play is one of the most important things for children’s development so children are the priority audience. However, children aren’t the only ones who benefit from Play, so this is not only about them. We want to hear from youth, caregivers, and anyone who likes to play.
Will the strategy include what the Council does with playgrounds?
Yes, this strategy will include the direction for Council playgrounds in the Central Otago District.
How will this strategy factor in accessible play?
Any topic relating to play is something we want to hear about. We know that our community supports an environment that is safe and accessible to everyone. So, if you have feedback and ideas relating to the accessible nature of play spaces, equipment, and opportunities, please share them with us.
